LIFE | THE BI-MONTHLY #2

WEEK 1

That week fast paced and stressful week at university, as we were all focused on finishing our project and present to our client and once that was done, we got all together and celebrated the end of academic year at the premises. Meanwhile, my friends and I were trying to organise our holidays together. We have decided to do with my two best friends a group travel for the first time this summer in Mallorca, so we were adding members to the trip and making bookings. On that same week I was also working at my side job, I had a bloggers event organized by Belvedere Vodka which they chose to name the “Urban Gardens of Belvedere“. A name that I can filled comprehend after seeing the venue where it took place. This event was hosted at the FloorTwo Bar, that you can find on the rooftop of the Hotel Kempisky in Geneva. I had never been there and I must say that I was more than pleased to discover this spot. One major thing that happened this week is my visit to a friend whom I hadn’t seen for ages, but we finally got to meet for her housewarming party after she had contacted me to drop the “Will you come to my mariage?” bomb!!

WEEK 2

First week of holiday. Yaaaayyy!!!! Obviously the first thing on my list was to catch up on missing sleep. Which I did. But also had to cause I was getting sick and wanted to fight it. I have this unidentifiable dormant jaw infection that keeps popping up and it is VE-RY annoying. Apart from that, it was really all about:

  • chilling, helping and catching up with my friends
  • family barbecue
  • bloggers event

Friday was the blogger event, organized by Sarah from the blog Fashion Boho. She started her events last year under the name of Villa Nomad in partnership with her boyfriend’s concept called Barty. This year she organized a brunch in collaboration with Aperol Switzerland ate the spot in Lausanne called L’Etagere, where me and a bunch of other Swiss Romandie bloggers that she knows were invited to.

In the catching up with my friends part, on Sunday I was helping one of them because she started her modeling school. The swiss Romandie school that is all about teaching you how to walk and carry yourself like a model and future Miss and Mister Swiss. Because we wanted to film the teaser for her launch, we went to a place called La Tine de Conflens in La Sarraz, in the country side of the Vaud district in Switzerland. Let me tell you, this place a is soooooo nice!! I had never been there and I regret it because I’ve spent a lot of my time in Cossonay – other town close to La Sarraz – as a child and I wish I would have been there to swim and enjoy the beautiful hidden waterfalls and nature.
