Introduction To Mixing Prints And Colors

This is the last outfit from my series “Back To School”. It is once again, composed mostly of items I bought during my holidays (but you will find links to shop for those same things or similar one below). I love this outfit because it easy to pull off, and also super comfortable. It can be worn with heels to be more classy and dressy, but it can also be worn with flats such as loafers.

My outfit here is a mix of prints, which can prove to be tricky. If you are going to mix prints, there is only one thing to care for in my opinion. Choosing colors. The patterns doesn’t need to be the same, but the colors must be either of the same tone or complementary. E.g. Yellow and purple are two complementary colors.
