OOTD and a little story
When you travel, there’s always something funny or exceptional that happens. When it does, you feel like you just can’t wait to narrate that story to everyone.
As we were getting ready to shoot a few pictures of our outfit, Yolicia and me realized that we couldn’t possibly carry our bag filled with extra jacket, extra shoes…you know the drill! Ladies always need some back up goods. Something had to be done. So we simply left our bags in a little corner in front of a property’s gate, hoping for our stuff not to get stolen. The morning went on, we shoot our pictures and head back to get our stuff; little did we know that there would be NO BAGS to be found. … SHOCKER.
For 2 minutes, we freaked out a little. Then MIRACLE, an old man standing next to us opens the properties gate. Naturally we follow him inside thinking we would find out where our bags went, not knowing where we had stepped. It was in fact a retirement home. Once inside we reach the front desk, describe our bags and their containments and there to our SURPRISE – someone had taken them inside to spare us from getting stolen. We were so so happy. And as we had already made a friend in an old man there, Yolicia showed him one of the videos we filmed during the shows. Even though we had a little of language barrier problem, we still managed to understand each other. Plus the old man was pleased to see the video and “talk” to us.
